From April 7th to April 10th the SPP 2176: The Iranian Highlands will hold its final conference in Istanbul.
The event will begin with the keynote lecture of Prof. Claudia Glatz of Glasgow University titled: “Mountains re-imagined: from topographic tropes to creative communities and vibrant relations”
Over the following 3 days, the research projects of the SPP 2176 will convene to discuss the key research topics: “landscapes and raw material regimes”, “mobility and networks” and “daily life and institutions” in an effort to reach a synthesis of the research conducted over the course of the SPP.
A dedicated conference website will be available soon, including a way to register for the public keynote lecture.
